Great 50th reunion. Kudos to all the reunion committee members. Looking forward to our 55th.

Stave,
Definitely the "good old days." Carrol's and the Brighton Diner were great eateries! And I too, like you, occasionally sing our Alma Mater when driving in the car...ALONE.
Once again, thanks to you for keeping this web-site alive.
Paul,
Having been in "F" group, I became a big fan of the "F Troop" TV program. In retrospect, I could probably have been a member of that show's Cast! Warren Gleckel

Burt,
Happy 72nd! I don't know if you are starting to feel old, but I certainly am. Actually retiring the 22nd of January after 42+ years at Buffalo State College. Will now be a full-time Delaware resident. Best wishes for a happy New Year. WG
I suspect many (100s) of Arlington students hold the same sentiments that Paul expressed regarding George Sorrentino. He was one of several excellent English teachers at the junior and senior high schools. While a bit eccentric (desk legs aligned perfectly in the corner of the parquet floor tile; half-sheet of paper for spelling tests and NO period after the numerals 1 to 20; tweed sport coat with leather elbow patches), he was all business. I think I still have a copy of the soft-back text, "Building Word Power." Interesting what we remember about some teachers.
Happy New Year to all. Warren Gleckel

Steve et al.,
Does Shadows have a reunion photograph of our class displayed somewhere in the restaurant? It appears to be a favorite haunt for the Class of '64. Maybe they will issue all of our classmates a Shadow VIP card for drink and food discounts given the frequency with which 64' groups visit. It really is an enjoyable place to meet. Folks always appear to be having a good time. Wish I lived closer to Poughkeepsie. Warren Gleckel
Steve,
Shadow's is a great setting. Sorry I couldn't join the group for lunch. Wouldn't have been able to make it back to Buffalo in time to meet my graduate class. Looking forward to the plans the committee makes for our next reunion. Thanks to all of you(Steve especially) for your efforts to keep us connected. WG

Steve,
Emphasis on "semi-avid." I enjoy reading about classmates and your history lessons. Hope all is well with you. Warren Gleckel
